ERIK PETERSON, AIA, NCARB
Erik is a Principal of PHX Architecture. He is a licensed Architect in the states of Arizona, Idaho, Hawaii, Texas and California. He is certified by the National Council of Architectural Registrations Board (NCARB), with a Bachelor of Architecture degree from Iowa State University, and a Master of Science in Architecture from Arizona State University. As part of his undergraduate studies he participated in the foreign design studios in Rome, Italy, and upon graduation he took a seven month internship at the acclaimed London firm of Terry Farrell Architects.
Currently, Erik manages a team working on a variety of luxury custom and developer residential and ‘boutique’ commercial design; notable projects include the design of The Ritz-Carlton Resort & Residences, Paradise Valley, JW Marriott’s Camelback Inn Resort Addition, Paradise Valley, Desert Highlands Community Master Plan & Tennis Center, Wickenburg Ranch Clubhouse and Facilities, PGA West Stadium Clubhouse Remodel, La Quinta, California, and Seven Canyons Hillside Villas, Range House and Clubhouse in Sedona.
Peterson has guided his firm to continued success, with numerous achievements winning the 2011 Best of our Valley by AZFoothills magazine, and top ranking in the Business Journal’s Arizona’s A-List Architectural firms. Many projects have been featured in publications including the Scottsdale Republic, Arizona Foothills Magazine, Arizona Republic, AZ Style, Desert Style and Design-Build Business.
